How it works

Save a few videos into a collection.
Start a watch party and send the link.
One link for everyone
Open a collection in your library and tap Host watch party (on a computer, the Start watch party icon beside it), then copy the invite link and send it to the group chat.
You pick the video. Their screen follows.
Only the host switches videos. When you choose the next one, it comes up on everyone's screen within a couple of seconds.
Chat while you watch
Live comments run alongside the video. You can turn them off, or choose how long they're kept.
Common questions
Is it really free to host?
Yes. Every ReelDeck plan can host watch parties, Free included. You don't need a credit card to sign up.
Do my friends need an account?
Yes, a free one. When they open your link, ReelDeck asks them to sign in or create an account, then takes them back to the party.
Does the video play at the same moment for everyone?
No. You choose which video is on screen, and it switches for everyone. Each person's player runs on its own, so count down in the chat and press play together.
Can guests change the video?
No. Only the host switches videos. Guests watch and comment.
What can we watch?
Any video saved in the collection. Videos play in each platform's own player inside ReelDeck. If a platform doesn't allow that, guests get a button to open the video there.
What happens when we're done?
End the party. Anyone who opens the link afterward sees that it has ended. To watch again, start a new party from the same collection and send the new link.
Can I use a locked collection?
Unlock it first. Locked collections can't host a watch party.
