Manual Save

Copy links from desktop browsers.

If you are not using the extension, the safest universal fallback is to copy the page URL directly from the browser and paste it into ReelDeck’s Save input.

Google Chrome

Chrome gives you the fastest manual copy flow from the address bar or the page share controls.

  • Open the video page
  • Click the address bar so the full URL is highlighted
  • Press Ctrl+C on Windows or Cmd+C on Mac
  • Open ReelDeck and paste the link into Save

Firefox

Firefox follows the same basic flow: copy from the address bar, then paste into ReelDeck.

  • Open the video page
  • Select the full address in the URL bar
  • Press Ctrl+C on Windows or Cmd+C on Mac
  • Paste the link into ReelDeck’s Save input

Safari

Safari also works with the standard address-bar copy flow on Mac.

  • Open the video page in Safari
  • Click the Smart Search field / address bar
  • Copy the full URL with Cmd+C
  • Paste the link into ReelDeck

Common questions

Should I copy the share URL or the full page URL?

Either can work, but the cleanest default is the full page URL from the browser address bar.

Does this work for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, and Twitch?

Yes. If the page opens in a supported browser tab, copying the page URL is the universal manual fallback.
